I still totally disagree...
With what you are saying, it's almost the same as 'why bother making it a special edition?' or 'why bother with a bonus CD?'. They are there to attract people to buy the album. Is that not a good thing?
Metallica are now giving away a Special Edition DVD with their album, do you see fans moaning about that?
