As for being in the public eye, I think in some ways this can be a good thing if it makes only one girl get her screening without putting it off, and catch this awful disease early enough, then the publicity of it is worth it. I think there was a girl on the radio earlier this week who read all the news and started thinking 'that could be me' and so went to get tested...was a good thing she did and they think they have found it early enough - I do hope so.
I can see downsides to the whole publicity thing though - for one it's maybe not particularly dignified...but what the hell, it's Jade's life, presumably her decision, I say let her do what she wants.
As for what went on with Shillpa Shetty, I didn't really follow that so have little idea what went on...but whatever happened or who was at fault, no one in the world deserves to suffer this - she is only 27 - same age as me, so it hits home a little.

They were saying that there is such a lot of women that have been to get checked now since Jades has gone public, and she herself said that if she has helped just one person then it is worth it.....you just cannot imagine what she is going through ,yet again life is so unfair..
