Oh dear! I do find this a very disturbing statement. One ery important thing to enable a person to develop is to take responsibility for their actions.
Dear Gabriel I think that considering the elevated position you hold you should set a shining example an stand up and say "It was me" "I did it and I have my reasons".
Of course for this deed you will pobably be denounced and stoned
but you will feel good about yourself at the end of the day
