I understand what you mean but considering the statement you made about the price differences before I have some doubts about it. Average consumers might favor the cheap product over the "expensive" one or even mistake the low-quality product for an official release. I'm afraid that such releases cannot only make you curious - they might deter you from further purchases in case they don't meet the quality standards you expect from a certain artist.

I accidentally bought a Billy Joel DVD from the same company and when I realized what it was I felt I had wasted my money. It contained concert clips I already knew (most of them were taken from the DVD
Live At Yankee Stadium) of rather poor quality and it ended with a video montage that was accompanied by a song that was definitely not Billy Joel.

I got the original
Billy Joel Live At Yankee Stadium DVD for 5,99 Euros. Go figure, the official DVD was even cheaper than that annoying compilation.
