I did think about it for a moment before posting, but since I'm originally from Yorkshire and I have a sense of humour, I threw caution to the wind
The actual statement though is true. Here in NZ whenever someone asks me where I'm from it's always "Yorkshire" that I say first not England or Britain and there's a few other people from Yorkshire here too and they say the same.
