Quite simple really. Arranged for a mobile tyre fitter to come to work today to fit some new tyres, since the old ones are nearly at the legal limit and it's getting too wet and slippery to be safe (although it can be a little fun sliding the car round corners it's frowned upon from some quarters) .. he arrives this morning, proceeds to take one of the old rear tyres off the car and then starts to fit the new one ... only to find he's brought a 16" tyre and not the required 17" one.
