I get the impression that he IS his own worst critic, and i'm sure he himself has said that in the past (don't ask where, i've read, watched, and listened to a LOT of interviews and don't have them committed to memory).

This person has obviously not studied Meat enough and RJ I disagree, I think that anyone who is a fan of Meat will see this for what it is a pretender, a wannabe.

Not true at all.
People can have different habits on different forums.

On this forum I always have the smilie at the start of my posts.
Other places I don't.

On one forum I press enter twice and then full stop at the end of every post (makes a neater gap between post and sig) but I don't do it here.

Meat calls himself Meat Loaf on .net, but here he uses the name Fire Ball, so discounting something because it's signed "Meat Loaf" instead of just "M" is proof of nothing.

It is quite simple to fool most people as most people do not actually care who the bass player is, or the drummer, or the keyboard player etc.

We know how Kasim's name is spelt so we can spot the fraud, but there will be plenty of fans who don't even know who Kasim is.

There will be more fans who know the name but have never seen it written down before so don't know it's spelt incorrectly.

The more the fan knows the easier it is to spot the fraud, but there will be plenty of people who like Meat Loaf who don't know enough to know a fake.
Certainly not on that evidence.

I think his music is great, although i'm hardly an authority on him, but I bet I could go away, create a profile and tell you i'm Joe Cocker .
You'd probably leave me a message saying you loved that song from Officer & A Gentleman

It's scary how people can be allowed to do this, and there should be tougher laws to protect from this type of identity theft.
