It was a small quake per se for them; enough to scatter groceries off shelves, do some cracking of older buildings, and shaking of loose items and people's nerves. Of course, this starts again the speculation of when the Big One is due, something they and the rest of the US have been living with especially since the Northridge Quake in early 1994.
