Meat is now eligible for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame This is his time!! With many thanks to Janice Eckel, a fan in the US who did some initial research, ROL has started a petition which we will send to the Induction Committee.
We are calling on Meat's fans to
* sign the petition
* write an individual letter to the committee
* spread the word amongst Meat's fans.
This is one situation when lobbying is in order and indeed expected.
We have invited other websites to join us in the campaign, and hope to get the support of Meat's many, many fans. If anyone richly deserves his place in the Hall of Fame it is Meat.
