Talking hypnotism, reminds me of that bloke who was thrown out of the order of the magi (that's the Manchester magic circle).
This chap did a hypnosis act, and as a bit of a lark he's hypnotise attractive women after the show, tell them he was, say, Tom Cruise (he was popular back then) that they would find him irrisistable and want to sleep with him.
Apparently it worked a charm, but they never did much sleeping
