Mrs Mouse
Its a well worn phrase but true "Time is a great healer". The wound closes but the scars remain, you just adjust to living with them.
Two passages/poems give me strength and I'll share them here but I have pm'd you also.
1 Thessalonians ch 3 v 13-18
But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so those who also sleep in Jesus God will bring with him.
For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that, we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to 1meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Therefore comfort one another with these words.
and also
Death is Nothing At All
Death is nothing at all.
I have only slipped away
into the next room.
I am I and You are You.
Whatever we were to each other,
that we still are.
Call me by my old familiar name,
Speak to me in the easy way
which you always used.
Put no difference in your tone,
Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow.
Laugh as we always laughed
At the little jokes we enjoyed together.
Pray, smile, think of me, pray for me
Let my name be the household word
that it always was.
Let it be spoken without effect,
without the trace of a shadow on it.
Life means all that it ever meant.
It is the same as it ever was;
There is unbroken continuity.
Why should I be out of mind
because I am out of sight?
I am waiting for you, for an interval,
somewhere very near, just round the corner.
All is well
My thoughts are with you and Mousie get comfort from each other and from the knowledge that you have many friends here in cyberspace.
