While having great songs on the likes of Rock ‘n’ Roll Hero and Welcome To The Neighbourhood too, would you say its fair comment that the authentic Meat Loaf sound is not firing on all cylinders without Jim Steinman?

I think they’re completely wrong and they don’t listen to the music. They make comments without thinking (laughs) – they’re totally wrong. Just look at Couldn’t Have Said It Better, Did I Say That?, Testify, Forever Young, Because Of You – (the latter written by two Englishman and the next single around Christmas time) – they’re brilliant songs!
