Tim,
it would be quite a hard thing to achieve working in watercolour, the very nature of the medium you are working in( watercolour) would restrict what you could do/achieve

but maybe , Bren she will have a go and see what happens.....

I'm being good and editing my post
Tim,
..I decided to be brave and have a go at this, it was a bit scarey....watercolour is a very unforgiving medium to work in,you have to think quickly, paint quickly and get it right first go
I got a large sheet of paper and just painted whatever came into my head.
To overcome some of the problems of trying this in watercolour ,i started in the middle of the page and worked outwards...i didn't know what the painting would be like, but i like what i've done, so i'll finish it
tomorrow
after the initial "terror" at the thought of painting this way , i really enjoyed it....so thanks I sat down to paint, when i next looked at the clock...it was 5hours later,i don't know where the time went.
when its finished, i'll photograph it for you...if you would be interested in seeing it
