Well... your solution is the only option, but in my experience, if the rules are strict and people have to start thinking "can I post this or that and is it not offtopic" they fall silent

But I do understand why you choose differently than the way I choose on my forum and I'll respect it. I just hope the new rules don't take the fun out of the offtopic section for a lot of members.
For me that's not the case, for me it will be more pleasant because maybe I can keep up with the posts. But for the majority? Dunno... time will tell.
