I forgot, I once was putting a new TV stand ont he wall for the parents. I remembered to check horizontally and vertically for electrics, positioned the drill, squeezed the trigger and landed on the other side of the now shattered bedroom window behind me.

The moral of the story is obviously to make sure you check the other side of any internal wall for electrics!
