Hope we sing some cheery Christmas carols this year at mass (if i'm well enough to go by then, of course), last year the choir had all the fun, we got to sing all the dreary carols
and yes, there are such things as dreary Christmas carols. Last year the Asian community in the parish did this really upbeat, cheery Christmas song from their part of the world, then straight after we sang In the Bleak Midwinter!
