I have a recording of the 1988 BfG live version (dont know which concert though), and it HAS the god speed section!

Meat said somewhere that he thought from the beginning that this was a bad brigde back to the refrain and he still thinks today, so I assume that´s the reason he left it.

The song:
I cant really grow excitement about that one, there´s somehow a lack of poer and emotion, dont ask me why.
