So. What have they done to justify their pay packet? Where has their promotions budget gone? And surely, on a percentage basis, it would make sense for them to promote the hell out of the album (no pun intended)?

I just don't get their reluctance to do their damn job. Universal Australia didn't even bother to release the singles to the public, nor to the RADIO STATIONS.

If you can manage to sell albums without spending those pennies, then those pennies were wasted.

That's the logic of a record company.

Whereas anybody else would pay for all the advertisment needed, record companies seem to be very reluctant to spend time and money on silly little things like "promo".

Hey, sending a promo copy out isn't free of charge you know
