What's so difficult to understand about "again" young Padawan?
I simply assume that this is all about a guy singing to a woman who has just come home from cheating on him (at least that's what he thinks/believes). Obviously this woman means everything to him and before he met her he was in the dark (ie she was/is the light in his life), now he could be in the dark again as he releases she wants something she couldn't get from him. Makes pretty much sense to me.

But the problem which I see, or the point I dont get is the following:
He is ready to make love, and according to his again, THIS is what will leave him in the dark.
so he´s left in the dark when the lights are turned off and they make love.
BUT
the again says to me that there has been something comparable to that before.
He was left in the dark before....
left in the dark = bad feeling, alone, sad, cheated
left in the dark again = the lights are off and they make love
which is, emotionally seen, the complete difference....
see my point now...
