A*1 = A and A*0 = 0 when multiplied by A gives us
A(A*1) = AA which is correct and A(0) = A(0) which is correct. You haven't proved A is 0, all you have proved is that A, when muliplied by 0, is 0.

Ok...I looked at this closer...yes, we don't know whether it's +5 or -5...but...theoretically speaking...it can be assumed that it's -5 since -5 squared gives us +25...so by the same token...it is possible that it's -5...
