Well, apart from the tracklist being different, the US version has a different mix.
The version of "Modern Girl" that appears on TVBO is the US remix, so if that sounds different from the album you have, well, do the math
(The difference is most notable in the guitar solo)
Also, on my US promo copy of the
Surf's Up single, the credits for who did the mix are (quite) different from those on my european CD/LP.
And as to which is which:
