I ahd forgotten about Button Moon,
"We're to Button moon,
with Mr spoon,
Button Moon,
Mr Spoon"

Did you know that was sung by Peter Davison who wnet on to be Doctor Who and in the Victoria Wood shows!

I also used to love Trumpton and Cmaberwick Green, How Windy Miller got in and out of the windmill after getting p*ssed on cider and without being decapitated by the sails I'll never know!!

Anyone remember Playschool before it became Playdays and Playbus? in the days when it was Brian Cant and Floella Benjamin (and didn't Jeremy Irons, star of films like Stealing Beauty and Die hard with a Vengance used to present it) with Jemima and Big Ted!?? When they used to sing songs like

"Do your ears hang low
do they wobble too and fro
can you tie them in a knot
can you tie them in a bow
Can you toss them over your shoulder
like a regimental soldier
do your ears hang low?"

or even

"How high does a fly fly if a fly fleis ever so high?"
(can't remember all the words to that one but I have the Playschool tape somewhere in the loft!)
