Hotlinking.
Not all sites like you to link to their images as it costs them money to host them adn provide bandwidth for others to view them. It is fairly common if you notice heavy traffic to one pic on your site to simply block the linking site.
Best option would be to upload the image to either ourselves or imageshack using the links on the new post page.
