Frankly: If what I said somewhere would be quoted out of context so that it seems I was saying something different: I'd be very mad about that. Smoke coming out of my ears kinda mad. Especially if you can't respond to that or contact the one that did it.
I don't think you as internet-user can find out who's behind a certain weblog.
Your ISP can, internet isn't as anonymous as many people think, everything leaves a trace. But the security/abuse department of your ISP won't trace a person, unless it is about abuse.
It's strange though... I follow a few dutch weblogs myself and there the owner presents him/herself. After all, a weblog is kinda of an online diary. Some use it as a html-editor or website. But originally weblogs were meant as online diary's.
The things that were quoted, where on i-net did you say them?
And hey, don't let this spoil your fun and excitement. Would be a bloody shame if you let this rain on your parade.
