It´s true, everybody feels so sometimes, and it´s great to listen to it when it is so. You could just hate the whole world!

And that song satisfies you in that feeling.
IMO it could have been ended after the what about... part maybe one more chorus or so.

I read somewhere that Meat just tried to swim in that Nirvana soundalike mainstream of 92/93, but I see a big difference.
Or could you imagine LIAL sung by (RIP) good old Kurt?
