I wonder if that film musical will really happen. I always thought Steinman would be a great songwriter for a film musical.
I had imagined Pandora's Box could have headed into that direction, though maybe it would have needed a more consistent story line for that, something about teenagers doomed in Gotham City or so. I'd rather see that than a film version of Whistle.
Maybe Meat could have a part in the musical, alongside some other great singers and good looking dancers. However nothing too cheesy though -read cheesy Steinman videos from the 80s-! I've heard Spielberg still wants to direct a musical at some time, this could/should be it!
