Interesting that Bryn Terfel is so often compared to Meat. Just found another one:

I really enjoyed this bit, (especially as Bryn Terfel is world famous on opera circles): "Critics have yet to describe him (Meat Loaf) as "a guy with the body of Bryn Terfel and an exuberant performing style," but it can only be a matter of time, eh?" With Meat's new album looming I'm guessing Bryn Terfel could well find himself with even greater heights to climb before he achieves that status.
