The song (for those, who not know) is about a man, who leaves a girl, because he feels that he doesn´t love her (maybe anymore).

As for the original question about "Sandy Beach"... yes he was a DJ, who "would not" play Meat & Jim's type of music, therefore Jim wrote him into TOOTAB, with the line "You'll never find your gold on a sandy beach", meaning with DJ's like him, singers like Meat would never get air play, not make money, therefore not find "gold". Meat explains this in an old interview somewhere, after BOOH becomes a mega hit. Sometime around 1979 - 80.
