I have NOT Applied for this show. I think it is mindless puerile crap and an example of how TV is becoming cheaper and cheaper. All that ever seems to be on is Reality shows liek BB or "I'm a celebrity". If i want to know what people do, i will look around me not be obsessed by watching some talentless nutters who are only in the show in order to try asnd become famous by airing their neuroses on antional TV.
If it is not this sort of show then it is a "fly on the wall". We've been round with the binmen, the bailiffs, the cruise liners, the enviromental health inspectors and numerous others. Why??? Do we really care how many cars were clamped by a wannabe TV star in london?
What happened to the programmes that made British TV one of our greatest exports. The classic comedies like Fawlty Towers, open all Hours or Bread. The dramas like To Play The King or the classic David Attenborough nature programmes.
TV executives are too scared to try anyhting new and so we get one idea and flog it to death. then make some more programmes the same!!! What is next,. the cameras in a normal suburban home filming them 24/7??
Quite frankly TV at the moment is going down the pan adn i don't think it will be too long before we all have 100 channels and nothing to watch.
Sorry if anyone is offended by the post but I just ahd to say this. Also I ahve been talking to a customer today who is a hugue fan of BB to the point where she has E4 on all day to watch it live in case anything happens!! Get a life? why bother, watch someone elses instead!
