I just wish reviewers would actually sit and listen to a an album with a clear, objective mind. Hard to do granted, but all the comparsions made reveal that is not what they even attempt.

Not sure whether you mean fan reviews here or published critic reviews. As far as we are concerned I agree. As I've already said I can't see why people feel the need to compare. Meat's albums are not a series of Die Hard movies after all .. so it's like trying to compare Die Hard and Sixth Sense. Bruce Willis is in both, but they are different pieces of work; you may prefer a film or preformance but they don't bear comparison.

If you mean published "professional" reviews, those I've seen, whilst generally referring to and referencing BOOH (which I guess is inevitable), have been bloody good, and I'm glad we lobbied for them :) Easy for reviewers to talk about BOOH now as some kind of epiphany! In hindsight how could they not? But at the time of its release I seem to recall there was much use of "overblown" and "over long" etc .. Meat took it on the road and built a success with audiences. This time a lot of good things have been said, and few reviewers have suggested anything but anticipated success.

Interesting though that again Meat has had to again make it so himself, and has done so. without the publicity machine that surrounds and boosts today's young "pop idols". In fact it's done remarkably well and much better than the latter would do without that support.
