Heaven Can Wait
That a song like Heaven Can Wait can sit on an album alongisde the powerful Bat and fast-paced Paradise shows what a superb album it really is. Steinman's masterpiece hails back to the days of creativity - doing what you really believe in rather than what 'fashion' dictates. Nobody takes risks anymore - who would dare today to begin an album with a fantasy-like crash song, and yet also have an emotinal epic like 2outta3 and 'Heaven' sat in the middle? Meat and Jim produced something that will never be surpassed, and I just can't wait to see the man in action on Monday. And that comes from someone who wasn't even born when Bat was released!
