If you keep your eyes open, there are some rather more obscure Meat references in the books.

For example: Lord Vetinari, the Patrician, has a family motto "Si non confectus, non reficiat" which is said to translate as "Everything works if you just let it happen"

Does that remind anyone of anything!!!
