Freundschaft
Da ist dieses Gefühl bei einem Menschen.
Man fühlt Sympathie und Zuneigung
und wünscht sich, dass diese Gefühle noch wachsen werden,
wie ein kleiner Samen in guter Erde.
Man hegt und pflegt diese Gefühle,
hofft und vertraut,
dass der Freund mit eben solcher Sorgfalt
diesen besonderen Samen beschützt.
Denn in einer Welt, in der Unkraut sich breit macht,
ist eine Freundschaft so einzigartig und wunderschön
wie eine Rose, die auch besonderer Pflege bedarf
um ihre ganze Schönheit zu entfalten.

There is this feeling inside a person
You feel sympathy and fondness
and you wish that theses feelings could grow more and more
like a little seed in the good ground.
You care about these feelings,
do hope and trust
that the beloved friend do cover this special seed with the same care.
Because in this world in which is enough wild plant
is a friendship so very unique and beautiful
like a rose which needs a special care, too
to let see the entire beauty.
