An admin on a forum can give a person a "title".
e.g. If R. wanted to make me a Guppie Goddess: he would add the title as a membergroups and then give that membergroup acces to the rest of the forum.
That's why Tim's the Butcher.
The other members: ít's all about postcount. But you're not supposed to deliberately post a lot, just because of a status.
