Got in from work last night and Carol told me she was waiting to see the second half of a program that was on (Cherished).
She told me that they kept playing bits of Meat songs .
She mentioned Bat and I'd Lie For You, but I thought they must have been a coincidence, then in one scene, Timothy Spall (who played the dad) got in the car, turned the radion on, and there was the instrumental from Bat .
Couldn't believe it.Then I was completly amazed when they played Forever Young at the end Such a new song for Meat, certainly too new to be considered a classic to a layman, so I was very suprised (but happy) that they chose it.

Someone involved certainly seems to be a Meat fan

It occurs to me that having a new song from a recent album used in such a high profile drama, a record company would try to get it pushed out as a single to capitalize on the show.
Mercury, are you reading this?..............
