I've remembered what the guys name was.Simon Fuller.
It was a name that sounded quite familiar, but I didn't know why

.Had a quick search and found out he's quite a big name in the music buisness

.
It is possible that this guy was not "the" Simon Fuller, just someone who happens to have the same name.It's also possible that this guy is just some joker who get's his jollies by going to karaokes and telling gulable singers "Hi, i'm Simon Fuller, i'm gonna give you your big break"

I can't be 100% sure, but the photos on the net do look like the guy I was talking too last night.
Saying that, I haven't looked at a newspaper today.There are probablly pics of Simon Fuller taken last night in London

I don't expect anything big to come out of this.Shows like Pop Idol and The X Factor are all geared to finding the next pretty boy or boy/girl band

.
To them, an overweight, long haired bloke who sweats a lot when he's belting a song out just isn't commercial

.
It's a good novelty though, and the show needs novelties to keep it interesting.
This time next year, I could be doing a commercial for Pizza Hut

Either way, it'll be a laugh
