Nothing to lose really Kathy if they won't play properly or at all. I'd be interested to hear how you get on. :)
I remember all the claims they made about CDs being indestructible too when they were first introduced. Apparently you could use them as frisbees and clean them with scouring pads and they would still play perfectly!
In reality they need to be treated with the same respect you would give to records. Still, it was a good sales pitch!
