It is to fresh, people won't be honest with the ratings, cause the heard it, like it or not, no time to get used to it. And, some people will say nice things cause they want a Meet and Greet with the Man himself!!

So, please, wait a while!

I think Meat is not really interested in this Tyre Tracks thing, so you can say whatever you like about a song.

Tim, I don't think I like what I am reading here. Saying that some people would rate the new songs higher just to get a M&G.
It should make absolutely no difference if Meat reads this section of the forum or not.

I can understand your point about getting used to the songs and also not everyone has heard them. That is the only reason why I would say, not yet. But soon. And, as always, honest.

Don't know where you got the idea from that it would work to get a M&G just by saying nice things to Meat. He is no fool..

Mariella, nothing personal, but i think it is the way that thing go. Let's be honest. Don't say you do it, or everybody else, but these things happens, so....... It was just a thought. Nothing more, nothing less.

The M&G comment is ........, but it is true that you should listen to a song for a few weeks, mebbe months to give your true opinion on it :)

Tho it is the best song on the album.

It took me more than 5 years to like Not a Dry Eye...

Why don't we rate the songs in a few weeks, and after, say a year or so, again? That way we can see what has changed. Just an idea.

I also have to agree with Tim, it is to fresh. But I also like the idea of Mariella.

I agree that we should let more time pass before we review the new songs.It wouldn't be fair to judge a new song on first impresions.Some songs that you might not really like at first could become some of your favourite songs.Others that you rave about now could age pretty fast for you.

I agree that we should wait, I've gone through various levels of like/dislike, then I'm not sure, then back to like (you get the picture), all this in just the past 3 weeks !!! :lol:

don't agree with that.if i like a song i like it! idon't then start to dislike it on later hearings i don't see how you could? you just like it more and more.ican always tellfrom first hearing if i like it.

For what it's worth, i agree with Mariella, i think we should perhaps not score them now, but give our opinion, and maybe score them in six months time.
