I joined the payed fan club in 1998 and from there joined the original site which (I think?) was the Yahoo site, so it was natural progression to join here when it developed...I've never been the same since!

I found the Yahoo site back in the days before the proper internet existed! Then moved here when it was formed!

well, i am a ML fan. I was brought here to ask meat something, after finding out he left shortly before my registration, i was gonna leave, but stayed for some reason.

Oh and beacuse i love the smilies! my five favs are: :tard::retard::panic::bunny::arrr:

Looking for an image of Meat Loaf as I remembered him (way back in the 70's) to show my kids the guy who sang Bat Out Of Hell. One of the images came from here, I naturally investigated further and signed up.

I started paying in 1998 - 2003, then got on internet and the rest is history. but I am proud to be a member.. its great:D

01/02 ish, i was searching for info on the new album, funhouse/testify/chsib.. so i lurked here as it was a good source of info.. only joined to thank meat for playing ravenhill belfast june 05, then slowly got sucked in. i only dabbled in the beginning, i thought i was in control..... etc etc, addiction story blah blah... i retired temporarily at post 1666, but couldn't beat my addiction, now i'm undergoing counselling for excessive posting of nonsense on this site.

Was searching through several websites for info about Meat, when I read there's gonna be a Bat3 (which excited me as hell), and that the source of this info was a post by himself on mlukfc.com.
I joined here, 'cause I wanted to ask ML something (or wanted to know how to contact him) and could only pm people (Fire Ball) as a user.
First weeks I didnt post at all, just read. Then I felt I had to post my opinion on something (Modern Girl lyrics). Then there were more and more threads, which I felt I had to comment on.
After that I went quite like it did with knooby....lol

Went to see Dream Engine's concert, heard about BOOH: The Next Generation...found .Net but it was dead then...then found this site...

Was moderated more times than I can remember...was about to get off this site for good and then met AndyK...guess he took pity on me...so stuck around...the rest is history...

Went to see Meat at Chatsworth with a very dear friend who is a member, he sent me a link to one of the posts on here, and I joined

Googled ML and ended up here - been stuck/addicted ever since. I am now even more obsessed about him than I was before(if that's possible). I have also learnt so much - so thanks everyone!!!

Well, I joined to find out more about Meat, but all you lot seem to do is play STUPID games!:evil: So I'm thinking of quiting and finding somewhere else, (that TALKS about Meat, and NOT ABOUT CATS:twisted: )

With all respect may I suggest you look at the other threads other than those in off topic, we have some extremely knowledgable people here. Off topic is meant to be fun, the serious stuff goes on in the other forums lol
