who's the black haired girl in the white dress, singing on AFL and Took the Words?
Always thought it was Mrs. Loud, but recently noticed that she's looking completely different :shock:

The woman was Patti Russo during her very first tour with Meat.

nope, Patti is on the concert too, singing on Paradise, but she's looking completely different.
The person I'm talking about has more of a darker skin

I'm not sure I even understand which concert is it you're on about?!!

Though on what's been said I'd bet it's Patti, one of her stage outfits was a white halter-neck dress with her hair done in a 1940's style (there's a piccy of her in the 1996 tour book I think?)

am I really THAT dumb that I cant see this is one and the same person???
It's the Orlando, Florida 1993 show that aired on MTV back then I'm talking about

Nope, definitely Patti - I remember looking through the tour book after the show and not being entirely sure who I was looking at, but it's Patti :up: She was definitely the only female singer at that time (and the white dress with red lippy made her skin and hair look darker ;) )

no, but i'd love to, any live stuff from that period is amazing, but so hard to get

No it's not. It's one of the easiest periods of Meat's career to get live stuff from. You just need to know where to look.

By the way RJ i thought i'd read a review of Meat's gig in Dublin in late 1993 and it said he had two female singers, one dressed in white (Patti?) and in dressed in black...

No idea who the second singer was though

I could be very wrong...but was it maybe Pearl?

I saw Meat a little later and it was Patti and Pearl
