I am sooo excited, does anyone know of these people? Is it real. Will this be in cinema's or is it only a small film? If you have any info on it please let me know =D =D

Hi there!

Excuse the randomness of this message, but I work for an independent
production company currently producing a feature documentary on the
musician/actor/artist Meat Loaf... We have a segment in the film where we
show fans singing along to his music, (to capture how passionate people are
about his songs -- especially "Paradise"!)... With your permission, we'd
love to use this video you posted on Youtube. Unfortunately, we can't offer
any monetary compensation for your participation, but we would imagine that
a fan such as yourself might get a kick out of appearing in a theatrically
released film based on one of your favorite artists (or if that's not the
case, that you'd still be interested in helping us out!).

With your participation, we'd need to take care of a few matters of
business. We'd need from you:

1) A copy of the clip you posted in the highest resolution/format possible
(miniDV, beta, etc).... We'd provide you a fed ex number to pay for all
shipping and/or dubbing costs.

2) We'd provide you with a release, giving us your permission to use your
video in our film -- and you'd need to sign it and fax it back to us.

Let me know what you think... Also, don't hesitate to call or email with
any questions -- and, as we're working on a very tight deadline, your prompt
reply is much appreciated.

Good news! Well done ... try to find out a bit more info from them though before committing to anything, and at the very least try to get some freebies of some sort for yourselves! ;-)

I would try to ask through .Net if such a documentary is indeed being produced and whether it is produced with proper authorization...and wouldn't do anything until I've gotten confirmation from proper channels...

well the company is a popular existing company. but obviously they can put there name on it. we have E-mail them back and are waiting for a reply with more information.

I honestly don't see what harm can be in this but I have seen so many scams I guess I became jaded with time...just be careful and good luck!!!

In all honesty i think this will be good and in the end... if it is a scam sure it will be disappointing but it's not the end of the world because neither of us lose anything. they are paying for the postage so it sounds good to me... but hey who knows what the future may hold?

Even if we are only featured for like 2 seconds it will so soo exciting!!

Well done, if this is genuine it is exciting that there is going to be a Meat Loaf movie/documentary!

Sounds cool.....be better if everyone sings a line from the song or lip sing and put it all together in a video and have the whole song like that....the fans doing it all.

Quick update for you all. we are in contact with the company. and have to fill out an appearance form! It all looks fine. the current title for the project is "Meat Loaf: on the road to hell" i think this might be apart of the DVD meat is doing from the tour. anyway just to let you guys know.
