Who IS that on the album cover?
 

I've owned Bat Out of Hell on vinyl since I was 11, and one things always bugged me - apart from the man himself, who are those other two on the back cover album art? I'm guessing Steinman and a backshot of either Foley or McClain, but those are just guesses. Anybody know? :?

It's Steinman, but who the girl is, no idea. My guess would be Ellen Foley, before she dyed her hair.

we had that discussed a few weeks back on the german forum, and came to the result that it´s most likely Ellen Foley.

You lot are stars. anyone know how I contact Ellen Foley to ask her? It must be the kind of thing you'd remember doing!

Best bet is to try to contact her via her myspace page.

Bless Ellen Foley! She wrote right back to me on MySpace to say that it definitely wasn't her, but she couldn't say whether it was somebody the others knew or just a model they got in. Back to square one?

saw a girl singing, and thought...surprise surprise...she was the singer.

oh well over here on the x factor crap (was it last year?:?) Mrs Loud was quite outspoken about, in the papers and on the show, thought it was discussed here at the time. Maybe not. Sorry hun, the question wasnt at all sarcastic i promise ;)

Mrs Loud, aka Lorraine Crosby has blonde/reddish hair, similar to Bonnie Tyler. In fact, she was a backing singer in Bonnie's band for years and years. I saw Bonnie at a music festival in Swansea back in 1995 (I think) and Lorraine was singing with her then. Then about 3 years ago, Lorraine brought her own band to play at a club in my hometown. I went along to watch, and Bonnie came too. It was a great night, but sadly there wasn't a very big crowd in. I ended up singing with Lorraine and Bonnie backstage. It was awesome fun! :D Lorraine told me that if she'd known I was coming, she'd have got me up to do AFL with her. She did an abridged version, as obviously she only features in the last few minuites of the original, and one of the boys in the band sang the Meat bits.

She was lovely to talk to, and so was Bonnie. In fact, Bonnie got one of my posters off the wall (I was appearing at the same club a few weeks later) and asked me to autograph it for her. Stupid ol' me even asked her who I should make it out to :roll: (of course I meant did she want me to write 'to Bonnie' or 'to Gaynor', her real name, but it sounded weird asking this famous person who I should make her autograph out to...)

I always thought Mrs. Loud was the girl singing AFL on the history of ML show... Who is THIS then? :confused:

I was dragged (kicking and screaming shamelessly!!) to a Joe Longthorne show(small price to pay for a ML ticket though lol) and she was the warm up act, i thought she was awful, no personality and no ability to entertain, she got peoples attention when she announced that SHE had a no 1 a few years back but when she said it was AFL people just looked at each other and shook their heads lol, she can sing but that was it imo, i didnt particularly care for the way she spoke about Meat on tv and press around the time of x factor either, the 'he got fat off of the profits from afl while i struggled' comment wound me up more than the others.

Not trying to bash her that's just my take and opinion is all!

i dont think you would have seen her unless you get our x factor over there, even then she was knocked out at the second stage. She does a few cabarets over here now
