95. What About Love
This is the START OUT OF HELL & ARRIVE TO HEAVEN topic.
Let's Go to Rock 'n' Roll!!!!!!! What About Love (6) It's an average ballad. I really don't like it but I have to accept it's not bad. It's better than If This The Last Kiss and You're Right I Was Wrong. For me this album is on the way of WTTNH and CHSIB, not on a Bat. All of them has two duets, a better one and a worse. All Coming is better but a bad performance I think. This one better performance but worse song. The score is the same: My score: 6 |
Like it, 8/10

I think this is one of the better songs in the album, sounds slightly like i couldn't have said it better myself, but it's still pretty good. Yeah it full of cliches but there aren't many songs without cliches.

I don't like this one............. However, it's funny because I disagree with almost all of what WOH was saying.......

Love it 9.5/10 :D :D

I like the song and I think that Patti's voice is very powerful, also you can hear the chemistary between the two of them.

This is a really good song, I love the changes in speed of the vocals and the story of the song. Meat's vocals are exceptional and Patti's vocals are always very strong and they make this track superb. Very good. 10/10.

I liked this song in the beginning...but now I really don't quite like it...hmmm...

I've said it before, and although people have and probably will disagree, I'll say it again: a song talking about giving yourself to anyone* and people sent by heaven has no place on a Bat-album. Big, dramatic love songs? No problem. Sappy love songs permeated with religious (judeo-Christian) imagery? No freaking way.
That said, the song's pretty decent, and if it had been on any other album I'd have no problem with it as an album track. I don't think it's single-material. 7/10 * And no, neither "Anything for Love" nor FCOL are about giving yourself to someone, as some people opted before. |
Not a bad song, have to admit not one of my favourites of all time, but still nice to listen to. My only regret is that Patti was largely dropped from this album, she's still the best female singer Meats ever had imo, and she still sounds great on this track. Far better than Aspen Miller and Marion Raven! Jennifer Hudsons not bad, but I digress.
7 out of 10. |
Average: 7.93 (111/14)
|
7/10 Just because of the chemistry between Meat and Patti.

That song really grew on me.
Especially the powerful middle bridge part THe only bad thing is the ending of the brigde part (the time for forgiveness is noooooooooooooow) that could have been much more dramatic, sounds somehow like the song lost enthusiasm at that point. 8.6/10 |
The song is poorly edited and could've been held out more.Though it is a Keeper in my book
6/10 - :)) Totally Honest. |
hmmm...it's nice but imo no more than that
Hated it at first so i guess that's an improvement lol Pattie makes it tons better than it would've been if yet another female had done the duo so i guess it is 7/10 |
Good in an I'd Lie For You kind of way, but nothing special.

I have to say its a really good song, kind of a bonnie tyler piano intro to it, really an updated version of Paradise without the end.
7.5/10 |
i like it, boring production, as with the whole album makes it a bit forgettable though. 7.2
