Does Meat withdraw???

Does Meat withdraw???
I've read it in an Hungarian music-site. He wants to turn to the films and he wants to end his music carreer.

Fire Ball!
Is it true?

greetings
Bart

Michel 11 Apr 2003 13:45

According to my newspaper (algemeen dagblad) which contained an interview with meat,
This will be his last tour. Physical problems are the reason. His knee has been damaged so much over the years that he needs a replacment knee acording the doctors, but Meat thinks he's to young yet for such an opperation. So he decided to make this his last world tour:
And he means it, he sais, because he doesn't want to be like cher, who is on her fourth last tour and has said 4 times goodbye to atlanta.

Fire Ball!
If is it your last world tour how would I can go to a concert?
Or I haven't chance!
Come to Hungary... at now!!!

Don't think that Meat Loaf will withdraw, strange thought.

Michel 12 Apr 2003 13:56

That is a very strange thougt. Maybe because he said on dutch radio: I will never shut up.

Yeah, that was funny: "My Indian name is "never shuts up"

Tim 12 Apr 2003 16:32

Don't think he will ever shut up, and i do think that i'm glad about that thought.

 I think Meat is more into his acting these days, but as for giving up music, perish the thought 8O .
It's been widley said (including by Meat) that this will be his last world tour.I think he will still be doing shows (I hope),just not on the scale of his previous tours.I think what he will do in the future will be along the lines of the having fun for the summer tour.
It would be a shame if he gave it up all together. He seems to enjoy it so much. And I know damn well we do  .

P.S.LOL at the comment about Cher saying goodbye to Atlanta four times.I think she's about to do another last world tour  .

Bart 13 Apr 2003 08:53

He just won't give up touring. I know it. He cannot live without being on a stage. No worldtours, okay. But small tours, i know it. He will be there until he is 65. The James Brown of Rock 'n' Roll.

Michel 13 Apr 2003 10:06

I also think that Bart. I think he is addicted to it. But maybe he needs to operate his knee first.

They didn't understand it. Meat said that he won't do a world tour no more after the CHSIB tour. But that doesn't mean, that he is going to end his music carreer. And he will do the Bat3. And perhaps he will also do another album after. (he said it on a german TV interview)

And on this interview, he also told, that off course his music carreer is going on.

Last Tour

Meat said on Des and Mel today this was going to be his last tour - does he really mean forever!

mariella 14 Apr 2003 19:20

No, I don't think so. This will be his last big world tour.

I am sure there will be many more exciting things after this tour.

Great day to you,

Mariella
