can anybody tell me what´s EXACTLY on the Bat2 picture show? ie which songs he performs live and what the interviews are about and how long it is.

snippets of interviews by steinman, meat loaf, michael bay and other small bits and pieces on the sets of the videos

the live stuff is from the mtv/vh1 show 'history of meat loaf live' which was on around the time that bat 2 was released

the video is about 60 mins long. Live performances are of AFL (edited) Lemon, and Paradise (edited). The videos for AFL, R'n'RD, and Objects are on there, and the whole thing is interspersed with interviews with Meat and Jim (but not together). Basically the interviews ar about how Jim wriites (cinematically) and how Meat performs (like an actor). they also try to give a bit of background into how Bat 2 came about. I haven't watched it for a while, but I think that's about it.

So the DVD with the new collector's addition of Bat2 seems to be this "Bat2 Picture Show", just minus the live clips?

unfortunately yes...what i'd give for the bat II picture show on dvd...about £16.99 plus postage :D

so, as I have a recording of the history of Meat Loaf, and if I buy the bat2 collectors edition (what I planned), there wouldnt be no need to buy the vhs anymore, right?

Yes if you're not bothered about having all the extra interview snippets that are only on the Bat II Picture Show tape.

I dont know if there from orlando but there from the ML History concert

according to the presenter, who is announcing the mtv concert it was from New York (if I remember correctly, have to watch it again)
All in all I´m sure that he says where the venue was.
