So what does everyone think of the new video?

Just seen it on the box, great video I'll have to watch out for it again.

Gotta say Patti looks stunning, I'm sure she doesn't read these boards but maybe Meat or Paul could pass that on.

So it's screening on the tv already where you are? I thought it wouldn't be released until the 21st of April at the earliest.

Could you describe the video and its concept/storyline?

I'm in Scotland, a music chanel called the Box has got an exclusive, I think it just started showing today.

I didn't see all of the video, can't quite remember much, part of it was Meat standing on a stage in a big theatre (I think). I'll get back to you when I see it again.

Most music videos start to air a good 2-4 weeks before they're released.

I'm not too sure if there is a story for the video, its like the video for Bat but better. Also if any of you saw the Lottery, Meat is wearing the same coat and black shirt and black waist coat.

The shirt he wore for the lottery looked silver?Also I can't see a waistcoat.Maybe he's wearing it open under his coat.I loved the coat when I first saw it,I thought it was a frock coat .Looking closer it looks more like a rain coat,but it still looks good.
I thought it was funny when I saw his new promo photos for the first time because I used to dress like that and used to have short hair.I had my first trilby when I was four 8O .Now i've grown my hair,and all I wear are black trousers and jackets with white shirts (no tie anymore :lol: ).
I'm dressing how Meat used to look and he's dressing like I used to :lol:

The video itself is great,but I wasn't so keen on some of the camera work :? .Good performances all round.Nice to see Meat throwing something again :mrgreen: .Hey man,it's been too long.
As I thought,it was a different shirt from the lottery.I thought it suited him a lot better 8) .I wasn't keen on the colour on the lottery,and I don't think Meat looks as good with his shirt out.But as the shirt tails where quite short in the vid,and he was wearing a waistcoat of the same colour he got away with it.
Anyway well done Meat and everyone in the band.Great job.

I think he looks fantastic in the long coat - and his lottery performance was excellent. It was so good it could have been mimed - but we all know Meat is far too talented to stoop that low. Also his little eye-bulging display at the end was superb - I hope he scared the hell out of David Sneddon!!

The video itself is good - I think Meat plays to the camera very well - you can tell he is an actor. As well as The Box having the exclusive to the CHSIB vid, Magic have started playing Anything For Love a hell of a lot too!

Meat was definiatelyearing a silver shirty on the lottery, this is going to sound sad but anyone know where u can buy that coat from?, also u know the shirt he wore on Top of the pops, 1994- singing 'not a dry eye', hwere can u get that, ive looked everywhere?

Most of the Sky Digital music channels are playing Meat's videos!

:twisted: Shadows On The Wall wanted to know where to get a coat like Meat's.
It looks very much like a standard men's black rain coat.They're not hard to find,although come to think of it,at this time of year most shops are getting their summer stock ready.Most high street shops mens departments should stock them.

I have to second that! How doe shshe stay looking so great? Does anybody know if Patti is going to be doing any solo work in the future?

I dont know if patti has any solo work planned but how great would it be if jimmy wrote an album for her!!?? with such a powerful voice like pattis im sure it would be fantastic? what do u all think about that??

It'd probably be pretty good if Jim wrote it, though I'm sure Patti could sing anything and it would sound great. :D

I heard from Patti a little over a week ago. Patti said she is doing some songwriting,but that for the most part, the Promo Touring is keeping her real busy.

I thought this was interesting- my son (6 1/2 years old) was watching the CHSIB video today, and he definately doesn't fully understand how rock and roll theatrics work. He was watching Meat and Patti singing together and he said "that has got to be his wife, or else she would be really mad at him!". :oops: Obviously he's not ready to watch "Paradise" live, that would confuse the heck out of him!

Dick I am with you. i saw the video online. It wa a bit choppy but I dont get it at all. Patti and meat looked like 2 different eras . As for pattis "look" in the video I dont understnad the aqua blue dress? I dont think this video really has a "story" to it which very much suprised me. How abou you(or anybody else?)
