What is missing from your Meat Loaf collection

IT IS MY STATED LIFETIME AMBITION TO HAVE EVERYTHING THAT MEATLOAF EVER RELEASED . WITH AMAZON AND E BAY THIS IS MORE POSSIBLE NOW, HOWEVER THE STONEY ERA SINGLES EVADE ME AND SOME EARLY 7" AND 12" SINGLES. I ALSO CLASS STEINMAN RELATED STUFF IN THE SAME CATEGORY AND THE TONIGHT IS WHAT IT MEANS TO BE YOUNG SINGLE IN ALL FORMATS ARE MISSING. HOW FAR ON IS YOUR COLLECTION AND WHAT IS MISSING.

I do have a 'hard' copy of every song that Meat Loaf has ever released, starting from the two Popcorn Blizzard songs up until latest stuff.

What I don't have, however, are all edits, remixes and other offiically released versions of the songs. Still working on that. I'd also love to have a copy of the original Popcorn Blizzard single, but since I reckon that the chances of coming across an affordable copy are very scarce, I'll settle for the Michigan Mixture bootleg-LP.

TIWIMTBY pops up on eBay all the time, as do the Stoney and Meatloaf singles.

 Apart from all the recordings, i'm a sucker for comercial crap.

Posters, badges, patches, postcards, sweatbands ( ) , toy cars, you put Meat Loaf on it, chances are i'll but it

What i'm REALLY after (the thing that comes to mind at the moment) is the Meat Loaf condom.

Got to track one down.

I've only ever seen two of them come up (no pun intended :lmao: ) on e bay, and I was outbid both times.

decadent wish...my german isn't so good so i'm never sure where i'm going on the amazon.de site!

LucyK! 30 Sep 2006 20:05

Ohh well remembered Neil!

If anyone sees Meat Loaf condoms please send me them! :))

DazLoaf01 30 Sep 2006 20:44

I've still yet to get these albums...

- Blind Before I Stop
- Meat Loaf Live
- Live Around The World (ordered!)
- VH-1 Storytellers

They are not easy to come by unfortunately. Also I have to decide whether I wanna get the UK or US version of BBIS and the original or re-released versions of Storytellers.

LucyK! 30 Sep 2006 20:51

Live Around The World is brilliant, I'd not listened to it for a while then Alex and I had it on to drive to Liverpool last year and I forgot how bloody good it is!!!!

Just found and ordered "Live" and VH-1 Storytellers CDs! Just need the elusive BBIS.... would be great to have the album collection upto date before Bat3 is released :-)

duke knooby 30 Sep 2006 23:18

L96 01 Oct 2006 01:31

There is one big omission in my Meat Loaf collection..... Meat Loaf. :-(

MeatGrl1 01 Oct 2006 01:39

I am missing Blind Before I Stop
Most of the singles.. If I listed them all we would be here all day!
And just the general nicknacks!
Actually add To Hell And Back
Feel The Motion and most of his other films that I do not have!

I'm like you FM, I like to collect all those commercial Meat Loaf items as well. :)) Not so much on the music, I mean in terms of every release, remix the world over.

I have posters, a painting, a couple badges, script of AFL, Dean Skuza funny car, books, key chains, movies and that's just what I can think of right now :)

J.

PS. If I ever see one of the condoms on ebay or somewhere I'll let you know, FM. :) Something I've only seen once, and wouldn't mind having is the "Holy Water kit" that came out around the time of WTTN, I think.

Eddie's Teddy 01 Oct 2006 12:11

Most obvious omission from my collection is the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra cd. I really do have to order a copy of that sometime soon.

wenners 01 Oct 2006 12:35

BAT 3???????????????????

allrevvedup 01 Oct 2006 12:44

More like a wish...as in i wish they'd bring out Bat Out Of Hell II Picture show on dvd

Alex 01 Oct 2006 13:26

I wish they'd bring the whole Beacon Show out on DVD. Screw the videos! Give me the concert that those are from! :D

Alex 01 Oct 2006 13:40

OH, and Knobby1666. ;)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TyiD0d_4PAc

duke knooby 01 Oct 2006 17:00
