watching Hits out of Hell and any other tape/dvd I´ve got with Meat concerts.

I´f I´m lucky I´ll even find time to watch Roadie...although that´d be about 2am tonight;)

I didn't celebrate as such but I woke up this morning and my first thought was "Happy birthday Meat Loaf" and at college... whenever someone has asked for the date, I've chirped "It's Meat Loaf's birthday." By now, every single person in my Criminology class and anyone in classes in adjoining rooms will be in no doubt what date it is today.

On a long car ride home today, I was thinking... what an amazing day Sept.27 1947 must have been.. :)) Granted, it would take about 30yrs to discover just WHO was born on this very special day, and how he changed the world for those who have embraced his music... his gift.
I raised an invisible glass in salute to you Meat Loaf, for all you've given us, and that we your fans, are so very fortuniate to be walking the earth at the same time you are, so we can enjoy the beautiful gift of your voice. THANK YOU!! :heart:

Yesterday when at university I noticed that the Sony TV centre was opened on the 27th September 2001, there's a little plaque beside the reception with it on! What a day to notice that!:lol:

drank a few beers and watched Classic Albums on The Biography Channel last night

I love the line 'you know why that wasn't on the original song...cause it sucked'!
