CD Artwork from Bat 2
 

Does anyone know who the person is, and if they have an online gallery, who did the art found in the CD booklet of Bat 2? Thanks.

Certainly. :D

They are all by Michael Whelan. The front cover was commissioned as a new piece for the album, and the others in the booklet are all pieces from his back catalogue (that had been used for other things in the past, such as the front covers of novels etc).

Michael Whelan also did The Very Best of Meat front cover (another new one, specially for the CD).

It isn't the most elegant site in the world but the gallery section is kinda cool.

I'm sure there are online art merchants that sell some of the items that others might be aware of, if anyone else can help. :-)

Thanks for the quick response and info! I've been trying to figure this out forever. I love the art in the CD booklet.
