Practical or written??

If it is practical, thena word to the wise. Blowing up the bench during which you destroy a fume cupboard, several hundred pounds worth of complicated glassware and cause a major gas leak resulting in the entire science block being evacuated is A Bad Thing.

If it is written, ensure you know how to write "I am a fish" 500 times!! (One for the Dwarfers out there!!)

lol ty its a writted paper, Ive done the practial paper and it went up in smoke, never keep ethanol near flames.

Who here can honestly say, hand on heart, that they ahve never got test tubes muddled adn blasted a fractional distillation column through the lab ceiling like a mini rocket!!

My favourite japes were turning a bunsen burner into a high powered water pistol and branding the desk with that triangle stand thingie ... best explosion cracked three paving slabs and caused a round of applause form the English block nearby (our illustrious chem teacher decided to do the epxeriment outside ... experience perhaps?)

I think the worst ive done is to make something extremely concentrated (which i still dunno what it was or how i made it, i just randomly mixed a few chemicals together) anyway it did cause an explosion and manage to put a dent in the desk i was at.

uhm sulphuric acid and another thing im not sure i dont think i added the right chemicals lol mixed something i wasnt supposed to.

i think it was water, now it was the contact process and there was a sort of mist left over so im pretty sure it was just a form of water or something i mixed:-P who knew water could be so explosive?
